In the place of our Tavern was the old olive mill of the village, which took water from the aqueduct of the area, part of which still exists in the area of our tavern.
In 1969, where it began, it began to serve the first travelers arriving in the area, either heading to the nearby beach, in Elafonissi, or to the Monastery of Panagia Chrysoskalitissa.

In its first years of operation, it offered fresh fried eggs, French fries & fresh salads from the family's garden, along with the freshly cooked food of the day. At the end they offered fruits!
